WHAT
Our primary ongoing project is the Precision Rifle Series (PRS) website: the primary web tool for The PRS Association. The PRS association creates a status, profile and ranking of shooters across the nation that builds interest and grows the sport of Precision Rifle through competition.
THE NAME
The name “Not Another 9” has a history of its own. We strive to hit only within the 10-ring. We recognize that we are not perfect, and sometimes we hit outside that 10-ring, hence “not another 9”.
This name was inspired by a renowned American rifleman, whose scores are never far from perfect, and whose internet handle expresses a similar sentiment, but in a more subtle, humble, humorous way. The name of said rifleman is withheld to avoid the charges of name-dropping, although we obtained his permission to go ahead with our name.
